SevenOne International To Sell Call TV Productions Worldwide for 9Live
Munich, March 31, 2006. SevenOne International, the ProSiebenSat.1 Groups worldwide programming distribution company, will be offering complete call TV solutions from the interactive quiz station 9Live. The target group is TV broadcasters who want to optimize time slots with innovative call TV windows, maximize their revenues, and build viewer loyalty with interactive call-in broadcasts.
As Europes leading brand in interactive programming, 9Live can draw on many years of experience and expertise to create call-in programming that exactly fits clients situations, from market analysis to conception to production and processing. The station also has an established infrastructure to review audience flows and call flows, manage winners and provide technical services for clients, all as a complete package. The stations core is an inventory of 50,000 different games that 9Live can use to serve all target audiences.
The station already produces several hours a day of live nighttime quiz shows for the stations Sat.1, ProSieben and kabel eins. These programs are tailor-made to fit the stations requirements and time slots, and are under a constant process of further development.
Says 9Live Managing Director Marcus Wolter: As the leading brand for interactive programming concepts, we offer unique expertise in high-quality, profitable call TV. Our station 9Live is founded on a sustainable, forward-looking business model that focuses on viewer loyalty. We can custom-build interactive programming for any TV market.
Adds Jens Richter, Managing Director of SevenOne International: The 9Live channel has shown impressively that the interactive call TV business model is a way for TV broadcasters to boost revenues quickly and efficiently, independently from the advertising market. No other station in Europe can compare with 9Lives consulting and implementation skills in this area. For SevenOne International, this collaborative venture is an opportunity to market a successful, forward-looking business model worldwide.
The station developed and implemented its first foreign call TV program in 2004, for the UK station E 4. The call TV show was produced entirely at 9Lives headquarters in Ismaning, near Munich, and carried live via satellite to the United Kingdom.
