Successful MIPTV 2007 for SevenOne International

Munich, April 24, 2007. SevenOne International looks back on a very successful MIPTV 2007. At this years audiovisual content trade show in Cannes, the worldwide programming distribution company of ProSiebenSat.1 Group has sold TV-shows like Beat your Host! and fictional events like Raging Inferno or The Hunt for Troy to most key TV markets worldwide.

Event fiction like Raging Inferno or Treasure Island convince an international audience because of their progressive look and modern story-telling. The most important programming sales in Cannes:
The Hunt for Troy (Producer: teamWorx production) will air in Spain, Turkey, Greece, Hungary and French-speaking Canada. Sat.1s two-part special event miniseries starring Mélanie Doutey (Clara Sheller, El Lobo) and Heino Ferch (The Airlift, The Downfall) tells the true story of the discovery of Troy.
Raging Inferno (Producer: Wiedemann & Berg) has been sold to Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Hungary, Turkey and Greece. In ProSiebens catastrophe film, Berlins TV tower is struck by a blaze.
ProSiebens event miniseries Treasure Island is currently in production (Producer: Janus Film) and has already been pre-sold to TV stations in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Romania and Japan. Treasure Island brings a modern version of Robert L. Stevensons classic adventure story back to the screen.
Special Unit (Producer: Typhoon) is a Sat.1 action series about Germany´s special unit GSG 9 and will air in France and Russia.
TV Movies and Series: Programming packages containing TV movies and series like Dream Hotels (Producer: Lisa Film) or 29 and still a Virgin (Producer: Janus Film) were purchased by TV stations in Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia, China and the French-speaking territories in Belgium, Canada and Switzerland.
Beat your Host! (Producer: BRAINPOOL) has been sold to Warner Bros. in the U.S. and Spain, France, Belgium and Romania. In ProSiebens game show, for the first time a host competes against his guests in games of athleticism, intelligence and chance.
On April 17, Schiller Street (Producer: Hurricane) has aired for the first time in Italy, scoring market shares well above average (3.5 million viewers aged 15-64). Moreover Sat.1s improv-comedy has already been sold to 15 countries. At MIPTV 2007, Greece and Romania have purchased the production rights of Schiller Street.
The knowledge magazine Galileo (Prdoducer: ProSieben) has been sold to the Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
The TV show The Successor (produced by Kuperman Productions & Uri Geller) attracted a lot of attention: In the new talent show, candidates have to prove themselves able to follow in the footsteps of famous showman Uri Geller. With an over 50 percent audience share, the show has been the most successful series launch in the history of Israeli television (average 42.2 percent).
