ProSiebenSat.1 Groups foreign station signs cooperation agreement with arena and extends soccer programming

Munich, August 14, 2006. Effective immediately, international broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Welt is expanding its soccer programming to three days a week instead of two. On top of that, the station has signed a three-year agreement with bwin.com Interactive Entertainment AG for the North American international pay TV rights to Bundesliga soccer. Online gaming provider bwin, represented by the sportsman media group GmbH, a sports rights agency, markets the international broadcasting rights on behalf of DFL Deutsche Fussball Liga GmbH. At the same time, for broadcasts in the United States and Canada, ProSiebenSat.1 Welt will be cooperating with the Bundesliga station arena, which will provide its full range of programming to ProSiebenSat.1 Welt.
